    The following table summarizes the LANCP commands:

    Command                     Function

    @ (File specification)      Reads and executes commands from the
                                specified file.

    CLEAR DEVICE                Deletes device data from the LAN
                                volatile device database.

    CLEAR DLL or CLEAR MOPDLL   Clears MOP downline load counters for all
                                nodes and devices.

    CLEAR NODE                  Deletes a node from the LAN volatile node
                                database.

    CONNECT NODE                Connects to a remote node, such as a terminal
                                server, that implements a console interface
                                using the MOP console carrier protocol.

    CONVERT DEVICE_DATABASE     Converts the device database to the format
                                required by the current version of LANCP.

    CONVERT NODE_DATABASE       Converts the node database to the format
                                required by the current version of LANCP.

    DEFINE DEVICE               Enters a device into the LAN permanent
                                device database or modifies an existing
                                entry.

    DEFINE NODE                 Enters a node into the LAN permanent
                                node database or modifies an existing
                                entry.

    EXIT                        Stops LANCP, returning control to DCL.

    HELP                        Provides help for the LANCP utility.

    LIST BANDWIDTH              Displays bandwidth settings in the LAN
                                permanent device database.

    LIST DEVICE                 Displays information in the LAN permanent
                                device database.

    LIST DLL or LIST MOPDLL     Displays MOP downline load settings in the
                                LAN permanent device database.

    LIST FAILOVER               Displays LAN Failover settings in the LAN
                                permanent device database.

    LIST NODE                   Displays information in the LAN permanent
                                node database.

    LIST PTP                    (Future release, not currently supported)

                                Displays Precision Time Protocol (PTP) settings
                                in the LAN permanent device database.

    LIST TRACE                  Displays LAN tracing settings in the LAN
                                permanent device database.

    LIST TEST                   Displays LAN test settings in the LAN
                                permanent device database.

    LIST ULAN                   (Future release, not currently supported)

                                Displays UDP LAN pseudo devices in the LAN
                                permanent device database.

    LIST VLAN                   Displays VLAN LAN pseudo devices in the LAN
                                permanent device database.

    PURGE DEVICE                Deletes device data from the LAN permanent
                                device database.

    PURGE NODE                  Deletes node data from the LAN permanent
                                node database.

    SET ACP                     Modifies the operation of the LANACP LAN
                                Server process.

    SET DEVICE                  Enters a device into the LAN volatile device
                                database or modifies an existing entry and
                                sets device parameters.

    SET NODE                    Enters a node into the LAN volatile node
                                database or modifies an existing entry.

    SHOW ACP                    Displays currently set LANCP and LANACP
                                options.

    SHOW CONFIGURATION          Displays a list of LAN devices on the
                                system.

    SHOW DEVICE                 Displays LAN device information from the
                                LAN volatile device database and from the
                                requested LAN devices.

    SHOW DLL or SHOW MOPDLL     Displays the status of MOP downline load
                                services, state and counters.

    SHOW LOG                    Displays the LAN$ACP.LOG file.

    SHOW NODE                   Displays information in the LAN volatile
                                node database.

    SHOW TEST                   Displays LAN device information from the
                                LAN volatile device database for current
                                test status.

    SPAWN                       Creates a subprocess of the current process.

    START DEVICE                Starts a test on a LAN device.

    TRIGGER NODE                Issues a reboot request to a remote node.

    UPDATE DEVICE               Updates a device, specifically to issue
                                a reset request to the device driver.
